Everyone knows the feeling: as the Homecoming Dance comes to a close, students aren’t yet ready to head home and are also looking to satisfy a growing hunger. This is where the post homecoming dance meal comes in. With both high schools on the island having their dances on October 19, In-N-Out is sure to be bustling. To help, The Echo Staff compiled a list of curated order recommendations.
Freshman Penelope Locke’s go-to order:
- Plain hamburger with extra sauce
- Add regular and animal fries in the burger (a lot of them)
- A Coke or Sprite to drink
- Extra pickles to make it “even better”
Freshman Ronen Antebi offers a “delicious” suggestion:
- Cheeseburger with extra pickles, grilled onions, and light sauce
- Side of animal-style fries
- Bonus: dip the fries in pink lemonade

- Animal style fries
- “Tied together” with a strawberry milkshake
Junior Ava Brandt adds her must-try order to the list:

Editors Pick: Editor-in-Chief Max Millot has a very specific order recommendation for those willing to try the “best order out there”:
- Four-by-four burger, animal style, no tomatoes
- Add peppers and, more importantly, pepper juice
- Neapolitan milkshake, maybe two
Some other “must-try” items repeatedly mentioned by staff include:
